Care management and advocacy group working with disabled and senior clients is looking for a part-time bookkeeper.

Location Requirements: Remote, but must reside in the DMV as there may be onsite meetings
Rate: $40 – $50 based on experience
Job Description: Client care management organization is looking for an experienced and strategic bookkeeper to assist with traditional bookkeeping duties including, but not limited to the duties listed below.
Responsibilities:
- Manage Accounts Payable – Process vendor invoices, ensure timely payments, and maintain accurate records.
- Oversee Accounts Receivable – Generate and track client invoices, follow up on outstanding balances, and reconcile accounts.
- Client Invoicing & Payment Processing – Prepare and send invoices, record payments, and address client billing inquiries.
- Process Payroll – Administer payroll for approximately 12 employees, including tax withholdings and benefits deductions.
- Financial Forecasting & Strategic Planning – Analyze financial data, assist with budgeting, and provide insights to support decision-making.
- General Bookkeeping & Compliance – Maintain accurate financial records, reconcile accounts, and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Other Bookkeeping & Administrative Support – Assist with additional finance-related tasks as needed to support business operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Must have small business bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online required
- High degree of accuracy, timeliness, and dependability
- Strong computer skills and experience using Microsoft Office, basic Excel
- Ability to work well independently
