Boutique Branding Firm in MA, seeking a remote Brand Designer to work alongside the Owner in order to help elevate individual client brands and tell their stories to their ideal audience.

Job Title: Brand Designer

Location Requirements: Remote

Rate: Competitive based on experience and technical skill set, $38/hr-$42/hr.

Job Type: Part-time and project-based, contract

Schedule: Start date: mid-September, project-based to start, estimated 5-10 hours/week with ability to scale with increasing client demand, flexible scheduling.

Job Overview: Our client is seeking a talented and visionary Brand Designer to join their team. The Brand Designer will work closely with the Owner on client discovery meetings to capture the essence of individual client brands, and then translate that into compelling visual identities and brand experiences. The ideal candidate is both strategic and artistic, capable of understanding business objectives and transforming them into creative solutions that resonate with target audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in brand discovery sessions with clients to understand client brand values, vision, and goals.
  • Develop comprehensive brand strategies that align with client objectives and market positioning. Create brand guidelines that encompass visual identity, tone of voice, and overall brand personality.
  • Design and develop brand assets including logos, color palettes, typography, and other visual elements. Ensure all designs are aligned with the strategic direction and enhance brand recognition.
  • Conceptualize and design brand experiences across various touchpoints, including digital, print, packaging, and environmental design. Ensure consistency and cohesion across all brand materials.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality output.
  • Prepare and present brand concepts and design solutions to clients.
Qualifications
  • BS in Graphic Design or a related field, or extensive real-world experience
  • Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in brand design and visual storytelling.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop)
  • Excellent understanding of branding principles, design theory, and typography.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to transform statistical data into visual graphics and diagrams (though the use of images, text, and color) which can make complex ideas more accessible
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines and produce deliverables effectively.
  • Collaborative team player with a client-focused mindset.
  • Passionate about design and branding with a continuous drive to learn and grow.
