IT firm focused on cloud based IT solutions seeking a Business Development/Customer Outreach candidate to work with customers and partners
Position Title: Business Development /Partner Success Lead
Location: Remote (candidate must be local to the WDC area)
Hours/Schedule: Three days/ weekly with a consistent schedule, 5-6 core hours during those three days (ie. 9am-2pm)
Rate: $35/hr (with bonus potential)
Position: Innovative client looking for an activity driven person to take company's current business relationship model and build deeper relationships with existing client partners, forge new relationships, and support sales opportunities for new and existing partner community. This opportunity is custom made for a sales professional who wants control of their flexible schedule but has the ability to grow with the success of the position. Ideal candidate will have a proven track record of sales and relationship building.
Job Responsibilities:
- Meet or exceed company Key Performance Indicators for email and call outreach on a consistent basis
- Support the existing Client Partner community; successfully work with customer leads until converted to schedule partner trainings, schedule customer meetings and follow through on the company’s sales process and focus on sales appointments
- Coordinate with senior management and technical support
- Consult on increasing awareness to client and help with participation in webinars, conferences, advertising, online presence, etc.. Provide input to senior management, product marketing and marketing support for collateral needed for BD efforts
- Work with CRM to accurately track, schedule, and provide feedback on sales activities
- Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously and follow through on issues in a timely manner
- Additional duties as required
Skills:
- Strong organizational and planning skills and attention to detail; passionate about quality and accuracy
- Proficient in CRM
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate and present complex information succinctly
- Ability to perform under pressure and achieve required deadlines
- Solid work ethic; professional and proactive approach to work; self-motivated, positive, confident and committed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year accredited university required
- 5+ years of sales with supporting records of success in that role. Ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales activity, both in outbound phone calls and email
- Experience with effectively communicating over video, phone and email
- High level proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word,Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
