Hours/Schedule: Full Time Flex

Rate: $100,000/year 

Job Description:  The client is looking for an experienced cyber security manager to take a somewhat independent role in the organization and be accountable for ensuring a secure cyber posture. 

Responsibilities: 
 

  • Assess current status
  • Continue to monitor and point out any vulnerabilities
  • Execute the roadmap towards a robust and future-proofed cyber security landscape
  • Work with organizations to assess and mitigate cyber risk and threats 
  • Identify opportunities for efficiencies in work process and innovative approaches to completing work
  • Participate in team problem solving efforts
  • Conduct relevant research, data analysis and create reports 
  • Maintain responsibility for completion and accuracy of work products

Qualifications: 
 

  • Up to date on the latest developments in terms of information and cyber security, and would work closely with the IT team as well as the business team
  • Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Information Systems Security, Cybersecurity, or related field
  • 10+ years of relevant consulting or industry experience
  • Proven experience effectively prioritizing workload to meet deadlines and work objectives
  • Demonstrated ability to write and communicate clearly, succinctly, and in a manner that can be clearly understood to a wide audience
  • Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation creation tools, as well as Internet research tools
