Rate: $110K-$120K plus bonus

 
Job Description: F
ull-service wealth management firm, offering investment management, financial and tax planning, managed individual bond portfolios, and 401(k) advisory services seeking an Equity Research Analyst for its growing team.  Firm's portfolios encompass actively managed funds, ETFs, socially responsible investments, and tactical asset allocation strategies.

 
Responsibilities:  
The Equity Research Analyst is a motivated and detail-oriented individual who will contribute to the security selection process for the US large/mid cap dividend growth equity discipline. This role is also responsible for contributing to, and sometimes leading, projects for the senior investment committee and assisting client-facing colleagues with information and client requests

Responsibilities

  • Work with research team to monitor existing holdings and generate new ideas, including direct responsibility for individual equities within the portfolio
  • Perform fundamental research focusing on dividend safety and growth prospects along with company’s valuation and financial strength
  • Ability to synthesize large amounts of information and communicate (both verbally and in writing) in clear and succinct manner
  • Coordinate and disseminate investment and performance information to the research team and overall organization
  • Research ad hoc projects as requested by the senior investment committee
  • Present investment topics at the IC meetings
  • Provide support to client facing team with individual stock questions or other ad hoc requests.
  • Actively participate in the investment conversation—particularly, at the weekly investment team meetings
  • Update and maintain reports and proprietary tools that are part of the research team’s investment process 
  • Provide support to client facing team: Stock-specific questions, or other ad hoc requests
  • Propose trade ideas to portfolio managers
  • Attend client events
  • Develop new research tools

 

Qualifications:  
 

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong interest in financial markets
  • Ability to source information and offer new insights
  • Motivated self-starter with the ability to work in a team environment
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute to the investment process
  • Quick learner; able to work accurately at a rapid pace with competing priorities
  • Working knowledge Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
