DC/London based Investment firm is looking for and Executive Assistant/Office Manager for their DC office 
 

Hours/Schedule: 40 hours week
 

Job Type: Temp to perm 

 

Location Requirements: Hybrid    

Rate: $65,000 – $75,000/year plus benefits

 
Job Description: 

Looking for an energetic professional with three to five years’ experience supporting executives in a small business and managing a small office in Washington, D.C.

 
Responsibilities: 

 

  • Provide direct support to the CEO and COO on a variety of special projects
  • Provide support for various board meetings (e.g., finalize agenda, communication, conferencing logistics, distributing meeting materials, taking board notes)
  • Book travel for the DC team
  • Schedule meetings and ensure guests to the office are greeted professionally
  • Provide support for local events (e.g., coordinate venues, communication, logistics, taking notes)
  • Manage the DC office (e.g., Liaison with the landlord, keep track of IT equipment and asset management, ensure adequate office supplies, catering)
  • Perform general office upkeep and maintenance
  • Act as the primary contact for local suppliers
  • Ensure the board room video conferencing system is working and provide ad-hoc support to meetings

 

Qualifications:  
 

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Two to three years of experience in a similar role is preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as superior interpersonal skills needed to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Superb organizational, editing, and proofreading skills and the ability to efficiently manage records
  • Self-motivated to take initiative and accomplish assignments with limited guidance
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to quickly master new skills
