Rapidly growing IT consulting firm is looking for a part-time HR Administrator to join their team 
 

Hours/Schedule:  20 hours/week 

 

Job Type:  Direct Hire

 

Location Requirements: Hybrid, candidate will be on-site in their Rockville, MD office, 4 days weekly 4 hours daily (ideal hours 10 am -2 pm), Friday work to be done remotely

Rate: $31/Hr.

 
Job Description: The HR Administrative Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day HR and administration operations. This person will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer.

 
Responsibilities:  
Human Resources Responsibilities:

  • Partners with the leadership team to understand and execute the organization's human resource and talent strategy. Particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.
  • Facilitates the employee hire process when a new employee is hired to include:
  • Recruiting, Interviewing, On-boarding, Performance Reviews, Training,  Off-boarding.
  • Collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
  • Provide human resources assistance and guidance to maximize the quality and professionalism of the company staff by listening and interpreting concerns and objectives and seeking solutions.
  • Creates learning and development programs and initiatives on company policies and new skills that provide internal development opportunities for employees.
  • Manage employee benefits and annual renewals.
  • Maintains updated and accurate Employee data.
  • Supports management through employee performance management efforts.
  • Maintains the employee handbook and update it as needed

Administration Responsibilities

  • Events planning(annual employee Summer Picnic and Holiday Gala)
  • Maintains office ordering supplies, restocking as needed.
  • Acts as primary liaison with building management.
  • Tracks and administers employee key fobs
  • Manages and schedules regular client notifications.
  • Overseas the resale and recycling of IT hardware.

Qualifications:  
 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred
  • Must have 2+ years’ experience in HR and administration functions
  • Technology or Professional Services industry experience a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
