HR Assistant

Business Consulting and HR Services firm is in need of an HR Assistant to work side-by-side with the Director  in a client-facing role. 
 

Hours/Schedule:  15 – 25 hours/week over 5 days during normal business hours but very flexible.

Job Type: Contract to Hire

Location Requirements: Hybrid but primarily virtual with the occasional obligation to be at a client site for onboarding.

Rate: $30-35/hour

Job Description: Responsible for the day-to-day HR activities of multiple clients. 

Responsibilities:  

  • Handling entire process for new hire orientation
  • Phone screening candidates
  • Assisting with recruiting
  • Manage interview scheduling and follow-up 
  • Benefits administration 
  • Interface with Benefits Brokers
  • Monitor incoming emails and respond accordingly

Qualifications:  

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 2-4 years working in an HR department
  • Experience with a consulting services company preferred
  • Able to juggle multiple priorities/clients with ease
  • Extremely organized, detail oriented and focused
  • Comfortable being the face of the company
  • Professional and composed when dealing with high-level executives and support staff alike
  • Tech savvy
  • Experience using HRIS software
