Female-founded and sustainably focused gifting company seeks a Marketing Coordinator. They offer ready-to-ship gifts for life’s milestone moments as well as a custom gifting concierge service for events & client appreciation. 

Hours/Schedule: 5-10 hours a week, with the possibility to ramp over time.

Job Type: 6-month Contract with the opportunity to extend

Location Requirements: Hybrid and flexible schedule. Set number of hours each week on-site in the Newton-based office for content curation and strategy sessions. The remainder of the work can be done remotely.

Rate: $30/hr 

Job Description: The Marketing Coordinator will support the CEO with content creation for social media, blogs, and email marketing. Candidates will work closely with the CEO to organize and develop a marketing strategy aimed at enhancing brand awareness, engaging with key audiences, and driving traffic to various platforms. 

Responsibilities:  

  • Collaborate with CEO to organize key marketing campaigns and social media initiatives that align with business goals and marketing objectives.
  • Work alongside CEO during peak operational hours to capture content. Help to organize and manage existing content library.
  • Create engaging blog content that adheres to SEO best practices to improve organic search rankings and drive targeted website traffic.
  • Develop and curate engaging and relevant content across all social media channels, including but not limited to Instagram and LinkedIn.
  • Engage with followers, and respond to inquiries and comments in a timely manner. Monitor reviews and conversations about the brand for CEO. 
  • Coordinate and execute email marketing campaigns in conjunction with CEO.
  • Track and share campaign performance and collaborate with CEO to adjust strategies as needed to maximize results. 
  • Track social media analytics to share with CEO. 
  • Ensure all social media content is consistent across all platforms and that it aligns with brand voice, guidelines, and goals.

Qualifications:  

  • Background experience in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
  • Knowledge of social media platforms, management tools, and analytics
  • Strong writing, editing, and communication skills
  • Creative thinking and ability to generate innovative content ideas
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Preferred: experience with Flodesk, Dubsado (CRM), and/or LinkedIn Sales Navigator
  • Preferred: experience with FaceBook and LinkedIn Ads
