Company: Executive coaching firm offering consultation and strategic business support empowering women to increase success is seeking a Marketing Copywriter/PR specialist.

Job Type: Contract

Hours/Schedule:  Approximately 5-10 Hours Per Week (approximately 20-40 hours a month), with the potential to ramp up over time. Very flexible scheduling; autonomy to set your own schedule and deliver on goals.

Location: Remote but must be local to Massachusetts

Rate: $30/hr-$35/hr

Job Description
The Marketing Copywriter and PR Specialist will be an integral member of the team, focused on crafting compelling and persuasive copy that promotes the brand, engages with the target audience, and drives marketing campaigns. They will implement communication strategies across multiple channels, with a primary emphasis on writing high-quality content that supports marketing goals. This role will work closely with the team to create content that resonates with target audiences, from social media posts to newsletters, press releases, and promotional materials.

Responsibilities:

-Write clear, concise, and compelling copy for a variety of mediums, including social media, websites, blogs, newsletters, email campaigns, press releases, and promotional materials
-Collaborate with the team to develop strategic messaging that aligns with brand voice and campaign objectives
-Produce engaging copy for social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter) and manage regular posts to enhance brand presence and engagement
-Write promotional content for newsletters, email blasts, and advertisements that drive audience engagement and conversion
-Craft press releases, media pitches, and other media materials that communicate key brand messages to journalists and outlets
-Ensure all content reflects the organization’s voice and brand positioning across all channels
-Deliver high-quality written materials on tight deadlines, maintaining accuracy, creativity, and brand consistency
-Tailor copy for SEO and audience engagement, ensuring maximum reach and effectiveness of digital content
-Work closely with internal teams, clients, and media contacts to ensure messaging is effective and aligned with marketing goals
-Provide input into the development and execution of content strategies that support overall marketing objectives and brand growth


Qualifications:

-3-5 years of professional copywriting experience, preferably in PR, marketing, or content creation
-Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Marketing, or a related field
-Proven ability to write persuasive, clear, and engaging copy for diverse audiences and platforms
-Well-versed in the latest social, mobile, and local networks such as LinkedIn, Instagram, and Twitter
-Strong understanding of content marketing principles and SEO best practices
-Exceptional oral and written communication skills a must
-Thrives in a fast-paced, goal0oriented environment
-Ability to write for a variety of mediums
-Established media contacts and experience working with journalists, a plus
