Non-profit committed to resolving homelessness seeks an Office/Administrative Assistant to join their Operations team. Great company culture and team!  

Hours/Schedule20 hours/week, preferred schedule of four 5-hour days, but open to options with the right candidate 

Job Type: Direct

Location Requirements: On-site in Haverhill office

Rate: $20-$22/hr

Job Description: Reporting directly to the CPO, the Operations/Administrative Assistant will assist with office administration, provide logistical support for program activities, and assist in financial reporting and communications within the organization.  

Responsibilities:  

  • Assist with program management, including preparation of monthly program reports to funding agencies
  • Organize, maintain, and update departmental files, records, databases and mailing lists
  • Assist with program logistics and general administration including filing, answering phones calls, scanning, photocopying, and note-taking for meetings
  • Assist with developing and implementing administrative systems to ensure effective and efficient administrative efforts
  • Create and maintain Excel sheets of program data for multiple programs
  • Draft and send correspondence, such as emails, memoranda, and letters, to professional contacts
  • Monitor inventory of office supplies and requisitioning replacements as needed
  • Prepare background materials for meetings or on special topics
  • Oversee scheduling and meeting details
  • Assist with special events and projects, as needed
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:  
  • Associates degree required, Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum of three (3) years of intermediate administrative experience
  • Mature judgment and ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Sensitivity to and interest in supporting the unique struggles of population supported by organization (at-risk individuals and families)
  • Tech savvy, Experience with CRM or database systems and MS Office Suite
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to determine priorities and meet multiple deadlines
  • Detail-oriented with strong multi-tasking abilities
  • Vaccination for COVID and valid drivers license are required
