Nationally recognized association type non-profit needs a strong Operations Administrator to help document, streamline and get processes and programs in order to help with the transition to new top leadership.
Hours/Schedule: 10-15 hours/ week, flexible schedule
Job Type: Contract for about three months. May have follow-on work.
Location Requirements: Hybrid with on-site requirement in McLean, VA
Rate: $35-40/hour
Job Description: In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing current operational practices and identifying areas that need improvement and/or streamlining. After describing your findings with management, you will lead efforts to implement changes to increase efficiency and reduce expenses. You will collaborate regularly Executive Leadership to ensure measurable results, documenting each phase of the changes, and reporting improvements.
Responsibilities:
- Shadow the President and document her responsibilities
- Write-up SOP's, suggesting streamline versions, areas for improvement and efficiency
- Prepare the annual calendar of events making sure everything is documented, captured and communicated
- Keep up-to-date with association credentials, meeting deadlines and obligations associated with it
- Create a historical timeline for the association for future leadership records
- Create a company Admin email and link all accounts to it
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business or a related field
- Advanced skills with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Proficient in Outlook a must
- Excellent verbal communication and organizational skills
- Superior writing skills
- Possess integrity
- Self-starter and able to work independently
- Excellent follow-through
