Nonprofit located in WDC established to enhance the overall quality of life for residents, employees, and visitors, and to increase commercial opportunities for business and property owners, seeks a part-time  Operations / Program Coordinator. 
 

Hours/Schedule:  20 hours weekly with a flexible, consistent schedule during core hours of the business day 

 

Job Type: Contract to Hire

 

Location Requirements: The ideal candidate can be on-site 4-5 days weekly, flexibility and if needed can work a day remotely  (ie. 10 am -2 pm)  

Rate: $30/Hr.

 
Job Description: Seeking an Operation/Program Coordinator to join their team. Ideal candidate will have prior experience and desire to work for a non-profit 

 
Responsibilities: 

  • Manage data in the organization’s CRM.
  • Contribute to the newsletter, website, and social media content.
  • Coordinate with a third-party Graphic Designer to update and make changes to the website.
  • Occasionally attend partner and stakeholder meetings.
  •  On occasion, visit properties and businesses to deliver and/or receive materials.
  • Coordinate invoicing, payment processing, and reconciliation processes with accounting partners. 
  • Schedule meetings. 
  • Perform online research and purchasing.
  • Order and manage office supplies.
  • Submit requests for city services in DC’s 311 system.
  • Respond to requests for information.
  • Complete other organizational tasks as assigned.

 

Qualifications:  

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Proficient computer and general up-to-date social media skills
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Adaptive, strategic, and creative thinker
  • Effective communication and writing skills
  • Responsible, professionally mature, and can self-manage projects
