GovCon IT solutions provider in Tysons is looking for a remote, part-time recruiter.

Hours/Schedule: 10 hours per week

Job Type: Contract

Location Requirements: Remote

Rate: $40-50/ hour

Job Description: The Recruiter will research, develop, and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract
a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the company. You will be required to source candidates, screen applicants, schedule interviews and oversee the entire hiring process. Your contribution will directly impact the team members that join the company, directly contributing to our growth and image
as a great place to work.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all phases of the recruitment life cycle. Oversee the hiring process and make necessary modifications to fully utilize the applicant tracking system (ATS)
  • Collaborate with managers and leadership to identify and draft detailed and accurate position descriptions/ job requisitions and hiring criteria. 
  • Identify and implement efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization
  • Develop and maintain a recruiting network to source qualified candidates and develop a pipeline. Partner with SkillBridge to identify and attract applicants.
  • Attract, source, and recruit qualified candidates by using ATS, social media, job boards, state employment agencies, and targeted HUBZone communities.
  • Screen applicants, schedule interviews, oversee the preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials and negotiate offers of employment, collaborate with and guide managers/stakeholders throughout the process.
  • Keep the ATS and stakeholders updated daily. Remain in continuous communication with candidates.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to leverage strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with all levels of the company, clients, and candidates.
  • Expertise to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and independent with the ability to take initiative and manage multiple actions concurrently
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn Applicant Tracking Systems, Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), or other recruitment systems.
  • Hands-on experience with recruiting and sourcing candidates.
  • Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
  • Proficient with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office Suite, or related software.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent work experience, required.  
  • At least five years engaging in all phases of the recruitment and hiring process is highly preferred.
