Non-profit empowering young people with learning and attention disabilities seeks a Programs & Admissions Manager
Hours/Schedule: Full time Flex
Job Type: Contract to Hire or Direct
Location Requirements: Hybrid, on site 2-3 days a week. During training which occurs twice a year, it will be 5 days on site
Rate: $70,000 – $80,000/year with benefits
Job Description: The Program & Admissions Manager will be responsible for the following:
Responsibilities:
- Work with senior leadership to oversee and manage successful delivery of overall program and day-to-day activities related to program operations
- Responsible for coordination and oversight of outreach and recruitment of program participants: Responsible for the master schedule of recruitment efforts, tracking progress and effort, noticing gaps and trends, etc., Initiate and manage recruitment events (i.e. college an job fairs), Represent at marketing events, Manage personal intern outreach portfolio
- Work closely with Senior leadership on the selection and assessment of appropriate participants
- Manage the onboarding process for participants and employer partners Manage and support participants and employer partners throughout the program, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes
- Oversee the coordination of curriculum units and integration of service providers
- Deliver core parts of the training program as part of the program team Ensure effective communication with all stakeholders
- Manage Program Coordinator and Program Associates
Qualifications:
- University degree in the area of admissions, education, special education, psychology, or social work. A Master’s Degree is highly desired
- At least 7 years’ experience providing services and working with young people with learning or attention issues, or who identify as neurodiverse Demonstrated successful program and people management experience Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail with a keen ability to also see the big picture. Demonstrated effective and efficient use of time; managing multiple projects under pressure and around deadlines
- Ability to initiative and find creative solutions to challenges
- Work well independently and as part of a team
