An international non-profit focused on fighting the climate crisis is seeking a Program Associate for approximately four (4) months.
Hours/Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/ week

Rate: $35/ hour
Job Description: This role provides temporary administrative support to teams based in North America, Europe, and Asia so the role requires some flexibility to accommodate work
in these timezones. This role works with the program director and deputy director to support them to manage budgets, grant plans, and to support other members of the team on administrative needs related to campaigns.
Responsibilities:
- Manage systems for accurate oversight and forecasting of program budgets
- Manage contractors including reviewing invoices for accuracy and budget compliance, following up on deliverables, & facilitating collaboration between contractors and team.
- Provide logistics and administrative support for internal and external team meetings.
- Carry out grants administration tasks including but not limited to reviewing memos, maintaining team calendar, and supporting partners.
- Conduct research assignments, data compilation, and analysis as needed
- Support the team in producing or working with contractors to create visually compelling materials including PowerPoint decks.
- Be the “early adopter” and team expert on how to use software solutions most effectively.
- Aligns own work, with Sunrise’s mission, values, and OKRs.
Qualifications:
- Well-developed administrative skills including project management, familiarity and ease with spreadsheets/budgets, designing documents and online research
- Demonstrated analysis and problem-solving skills and experience
- Highly computer literate and tech-savvy with intermediate MS-Office and G-suite skills and a proven ability to quickly become a superuser of software;
- Ability to work autonomously and proactively, as well as collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
