Government contractor seeking a proposal editor/coordinator to assist in the development of government proposals
 

Hours/Schedule:  25-30 hours/week 

Job Type: Contract to Hire

Location Requirements: Remote 

Rate: $35/hour 

Job Description: The Proposal Coordinator assists in the development of the proposal, including editing proposal content, ensuring proper format, and managing proposal schedules and deadlines

Responsibilities:  

  • Assist in the development of the proposal by reviewing and editing content and assembling information including project nature, objectives/outcomes/deliverables, implementation, methods, timetable, staffing, budget, standards of performance, and evaluation; revise and edit drafts including executive summaries, conclusions, and organization credentials
  • Prepare presentation materials (PowerPoint) using proposal content
  • Maintain quality results by using templates; following proposal-writing standards including readability, consistency, and tone
  • Review completed proposal sections to ensure requirements are adequately addressed and RFP page limits are not exceeded
  • Assist in analyzing the RFP/bid requirements against the proposal outline to ensure both compliance and responsiveness to Agency’s issues 

 

Qualifications:  

  • Strong writing, editing and communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint  
  • Experience working with proposals and/or government contracting environment (preferred)
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently
  • Detail oriented with excellent time-management skills
  • Impeccable work ethic, integrity, and can-do attitude
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize projects
