Social justice non-profit organization is seeking a part-time, remote Raiser's Edge Database Consultant
Hours/Schedule: Approximately 10 hours a week

Job Description:
The Database Consultant will help ensure the success of the Non Profit and the Advancement Team by overseeing data integrity, database maintenance, gift processing, internal reporting, and Raiser’s Edge/NXT staff training. They will be responsible for maintaining comprehensive quality control processes for gift and prospect management in Raisers Edge/NXT. Additionally, the Database Associate will work cross departmentally with all programmatic teams to support a variety of database needs, including email signups, list segmentation and queries in Raisers Edge.
The role will have three main types of tasks, 1) Ongoing/weekly/bi-weekly/monthly data maintenance tasks; 2) ad hoc projects on an as needed basis; and 3) special projects.
Responsibilities:
Ongoing (weekly/biweekly/monthly) tasks include:
- Zeroing out duplicate records
- Deleting inactive records
- Sign up attributes
- Gift Processing
- After mass emails go out to the full list – looking through the RTS and comparing the received list to the sent list and update accordingly
- Addressee and Salutation Add
- Donations
- Transferring NRL sign ups into the database
- General data health queries and fixes
- Tracking and update actions
Ad hoc projects:
- Bulk list uploads
- Bulk global changes
- Pulling specific lists or backend queries
- Additional segmentation work
- Adding and editing event lists and outreach
Special projects such as:
- Help development team establish a process for prospect management in Raiser's Edge
- Assist Prospect Research Strategist in Raiser's Edge research tools and capabilities
- Update and complete SOP project
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Nonprofit Management, Business Administration, Information Systems).
- Proven expertise in working with Raiser's Edge or similar fundraising software.
- Strong understanding of fundraising principles and practices.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
