International Development firm is looking for a part-time Recruiter to join their dynamic team 
 

Hours/Schedule:  20 hours weekly 

 

Job Type: Direct

 

Location Requirements: This is currently a remote position but will switch to a hybrid schedule sometime after January onsite two days weekly    

Rate: 50k or based on experience

 
Job Description:
Seeking an experienced mid-level Recruiter  with US AID experience. This position will work closely with the Human Resources Director to hire for a variety of essential positions for a specific purpose. Understanding international development government contracting recruiting, compliance requirements, and following the full cycle recruitment process are essential experience to have to be successful in this position.

 
Responsibilities: 

  • Responsible for searching/recruiting a number of subject matter experts by following standardized processes to screen and select the best candidates and ensure compliance with all governmental and client employment specifications including daily rates, salary verifications, and education verification.
  • Conducting intake calls with hiring managers to understand the position requirements; advising on job descriptions to ensure they accurately portray the positions
  • Collaborate with Sr. Recruiter in searching for consultants using a range of channels and a variety of conventional and social media strategies.
  • Suggest ways to improve our recruitment efforts by creating, enhancing, and updating the internal recruitment database and online mailing list.
  • Work closely with senior team members to write job descriptions for available positions.
  • Conduct and schedule interviews and follow up on references of selected candidates.
  • Ensure all necessary staffing documentation is obtained and retained.
  • Collaborate with the HR Director on developing creative CV write-ups that strongly address qualifications required for specified roles.
  • Maintain communication with candidates to keep them updated through the hiring process.
  • Research and recommend new sources for hiring personnel to enhance recruiting practices.

Qualifications:  

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Marketing or related fields.
  • 3+ years of experience developing recruiting strategies for hard to fill positions
  • 2 years experience recruiting for international development or government consulting industries
  • Extensive knowledge of recruiting techniques and sourcing strategies, and ability to research new tools and resources
  • Strong sourcing approach with ability to dive deep into searches for hard-to-fill roles
  • Ability to maintain strong relationships with hiring managers, interviewers and team members throughout the hiring process
  • Sharp interviewing skills with ability to screen and assess talent for both technical and soft-skill qualities
  • Relevant experience in government contracting recruiting.
  • Highly proficient in all aspects of full-cycle recruiting.
  • Excellent interpersonal and time management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse teams, and develop lasting relationships with candidates.
