Local Association is looking for a Senior Administrative Assistant for 3 – 4 months on site

Hours/Schedule: On site 5 days a week in Crystal City, 40 hours 

Job Type: Project

Rate: $40/hour 

Job Description: Supports Physical and Cybersecurity staff performing general administrative activities

Responsibilities
 

  • Provides administrative support for:
    • Contacting and following up with members and vendors for required compliance documentation and submittals.
    • Ensuring applicable documentation and submittal tracking tools are up-to-date, complete, and accurate.
    • Researching and responding to member requests.
    • Internal and external meeting preparation and coordination.
    • Proofreading documents and deliverables for a variety of media channels.
    • Outreach to members to assist with major initiatives.
    • Coordinating responses to ad-hoc member requests.
  • Provides program support for:
    • Cybersecurity Community.
    • Cybersecurity Community Working Groups.
    • Cooperative agreements including but not limited to, assisting with deliverables and government submission materials and updates.
    • Activities relating to the Coordinating Council activities, as assigned.
    •  Industry information sharing/incident response groups.
  • Maintains applicable SharePoint document libraries, N:Drive file systems, spreadsheets, and databases, and project management tools, etc., as assigned.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
 

  • Degree from a 4-year college or university.
  • One–three years of relevant experience working as part of a team to support complex projects and working to provide core customer services and as a key point of contact for customer programs and services.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, Teams, Project, Visio, and Access.
  • Experience with Customer Management Applications.
  • Effective technical project and research management skills.
  • Excellent individual research and analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong ability to take initiative.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Proficient Internet research skills.
  • Strong ability to analyze and report on survey data.
  • Ability to learn and utilize variety of software platforms.
