Hours/Schedule: Full-time hybrid schedule with flexibility for 100% remote for the first 3-6 months. No travel required. Hours will fluctuate during busy season.

Rate: $70,000-$96,000 based on experience, plus overtime compensation during busy season, and discretionary bonus. Excellent benefits as part of total compensation package.
Job Description:
The Senior Tax Accountant will serve a diverse client base, including individuals, corporations, nonprofit organizations, and trust & estate clients. The position is heavy in tax but offers opportunities to support our CFO consulting clients and advancement up to and including partnership. The ideal candidate will possess leadership abilities and an interest in advancement. The other indispensable qualities we seek are honesty, intellectual curiosity, attention to detail, initiative, follow-through, and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Review tax returns and prepare complex returns for clients.
- Provide tax planning services and research.
- Demonstrate excellent project management skills in balancing the needs of multiple clients, while providing exceptional service.
- Provide financial analysis
- Train and develop junior staff on responsibilities and client relations.
- Provide support to CFO consulting clients.
Qualifications:
- CPA or CPA Candidate preferred
- 5 or more years of experience, all or mostly in the CPA/tax area
- Masters in Tax preferred but not required
- Strong communication skills
- Experience with Ultra Tax is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with QuickBooks and similar accounting packages and other business software packages
- Advance knowledge in the use of Excel
