Rate: $220K-$240K plus bonus
Job Description: The Senior Vice President, Relationship Manager will join the Client Service team in North America. In this role, the Relationship Manager will be responsible for servicing a book of institutional North American client relationships. This individual will act as a liaison between the firm and the client, as well as help to advance engagement across the firm’s client base. The candidate must be a client-oriented individual who has strong investment knowledge, proven relationship building expertise, and the ability to handle a diverse client base. The candidate must have the ability to understand institutional investors needs and objectives, strategically position the firm’s capabilities, solve problems, effectively communicate, and successfully meet the demanding, time-sensitive needs of the firm’s client base.
Responsibilities:
- Own all aspects of the client experience at the firm.
- Serve as primary contact for assigned institutional client relationships across the firm’s North American client base.
- Responsible for building and maintaining trusting client relationships to ensure retention, growth, and strong reputational brand.
- Manage client expectations while balancing the interest of both clients and the business.
- Collaborate with client service, consultant relations, distribution, and investment teams at the firm to develop strategic client plans and match the firm’s investment capabilities with client needs.
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of client marketplace (geographical, specialty and/or client type).
- Fully leverage CRM systems to maintain accurate and up-to-date service records of all activities ensuring that all relevant departments receive the necessary information to help facilitate and support client service for the firm.
- Serve as a senior member and strategic contributor to the firm's Global Client Group.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required. MBA, CFA and/or graduate degree preferred.
- 10 – 15 years of experience within the investment industry.
- Proven ability to establish effective relationships both internally and externally.
- Strong investment knowledge, presentation skills, written skills and team orientation.
- Willingness to travel approximately 50%.
