Accounting firm in Fairfax, VA seeking a full-time, flex Tax Associate.
Hours/Schedule: Full-time, flexible
Job Type: Direct hire
Location Requirements: Hybrid, Monday through Thursday are in office with some flexibility. Fridays work from home
Rate: A competitive salary with benefits will be offered based on experience. Includes extensive benefits package.
Job Description: The Tax Associate will gather data and prepare individual tax returns. Knowledge of business returns is a plus but most of the time spent will be on individual tax preparation.
Qualifications:
- Degree in accounting
- Experience using tax preparation software is required
- EA or CPA or 3+ years preparing individual tax returns
- Ability to prepare individual tax returns for about 300 – 500 people in tax season with help from staff
