Job Description: Leads and manages multiple tax engagements to deliver quality tax services for clients. This position offers excellent opportunities for leadership and career advancement for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation and review of federal and state income taxes for individuals, businesses, and exempt organizations
- Signs tax returns as preparer
- Responds to client questions about taxes, prepares tax projections
- Responds to tax authorities
- Build new and existing client relationships
- Manages multiple clients, budgets, and production goals
- Trains staff, reviews & evaluates their work
- Works to improve firm processes, workflows, and procedures
Qualifications:
- CPA with 5+ years prior experience in public accounting preparing individual and business tax returns
- Strong grasp of Forms 1040, 1120, 1120S, and 1065 is required
- Strong accounting and analytical skills
- Strong computer skills: proficiency in Tax software, Excel, Word
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- Detail oriented & ability to multi-task
- 1+ years of supervisory experience
