Arlington, VA based consulting firm is looking for a Technical Recruiter 

Hours/Schedule: 32 – 40 hours/week 


Job Type: Contract


Location RequirementsRemote with on-site in Arlington, VA a couple days a week

Rate: $50 – $55/hour 

Job Description: 
The Technical Recruiter will identify, recruit, screen, and present strong candidates for technology positions, as well as non technology positions, collaborating with hiring managers to attract, evaluate, and hire top talent



  • Recruit positions such as: Java Developers, Front-End Developers, PHP/Drupal Developers, UI/UX Designers, Data Engineers, Data Specialist, Taxonomist and Ontologists, System Administrators, Scrum Masters, Product Managers, Technical Project Managers, and Management Consults.     

  • Coordinate, communicate, and schedule interviews, prepare interview materials and assist in recruiting events as needed

  • Prepare candidates for interviewing with the company and specific hiring managers by providing detailed information on the company, our business strategy, practice area background, and position requirements

  • Ensure the candidate's interview experience is exceptional through communication and handoff coordination in collaboration with recruiters and hiring managers

  • Act as a Point-of-Contact for candidates and hiring managers on interview days by greeting candidates and assisting them throughout the interview process

  • Track and maintain candidate progress within the Applicant Tracking System, review resumes, and update job postings

  • Create and update job postings to various job boards

  • Perform advanced sourcing through various mediums including internal and external database mining, networking, associations, universities, community agencies, social media, referrals, Boolean search strings, online and traditional directories as well as other innovative sourcing methods to support current and future hiring needs




  • Minimum 2 years experience in Technical recruiting 

  • Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate at all levels within an organization and externally in a professional, articulate manner.

  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a high level attention to detail.

  • Proven ability to multitask, and prioritize in a fast past environment with changing priorities; adaptable to change and a quick learner.

  • Must be self-motivated and able to work well independently as well as on a multi-functional team.

  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately

  • Strong initiative and solid judgment abilities/skills

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to support the team.

  • Excellent Google Suite skills
