A.M. is an HR generalist with 10+ years of experience at both the corporate and site-levels. She is currently the HR Director for a local branch of a national organization that manages nursing homes. She is responsible for employee relations and engagement; recruiting, on-boarding, and off-boarding; benefits administration; HR reporting; and supervision of administrative staff in a high-turnover environment. From 2015-2017 she was an HR Generalist for the Reston location of what is now Walmart Labs and was responsible for the day-to-day execution of HR procedures for 150+ exempt and non-exempt associates. She was a certified Walmart Culture Ambassador and was responsible for creating and maintaining a successful summer internship program that boasted a 75% retention rate for its first two years.
