A.R. is an engineer turned artist/graphic designer with 24+ years of experience in client management, product design, product management, and business management. Since 2013, she has been self-employed as an award-winning digital artist, where she has sold 45 artworks, participated in 15+ exhibitions, and received 5 awards for her work. In addition, she has created logos, book cover art, and marketing collateral for several clients. For the Children’s National Medical Center, she is currently teaching an art class for patients and families and creating a “Healing Hands Across Nations” artwork to be displayed at Pepco Edison Place Gallery. From 2006-2015, she was a Product Manager and Engineer at Prodea Systems, working on its flagship technology product. From 2002-2006, she managed business development for Avasina, a local management engineering startup. Earlier in her career, she held several engineering roles at Sonus Networks, MCI Telecommunications, and Booz Allen and Hamilton. She is advanced in MS Office, Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom and InDesign. She has a Masters in Electrical Engineering and BS in Electrical and Computer Engineering from George Mason University.
