Seasoned financial executive with 30+ years of broad managerial, financial analysis, treasury, and accounting experience focused on the investment management industry, in addition to also working with or on the boards of various non-profits. From 1994 through 2015 she worked for an investment management firm that grew its size by 10 fold through mergers, acquisitions, and organic growth, during which time she grew her accounting and analytical expertise, elevating her role from staff accountant to eventually becoming the Chief Financial Officer. Her success was driven by leading and executing on key business initiatives, building and leading cross-functional and inter-organization teams, and developing and managing high performing teams in a demanding and changing environment. Key to success was the development of analytical reporting to support decisions on business opportunities and divestitures, cash flow, and capital management, and contract negotiations. Through her work, she has developed a familiarity with varied accounting and reporting software, including enterprise solutions such as SAP, Tagetik (reporting), as well as relying on smaller platforms like QuickBooks, primarily in the non-profit environment. Additionally, she has a strong working knowledge of MS Office products, especially Excel, Office, and PowerPoint. She earned her Master’s in Business Administration from Simmons Graduate School, Boston, MA.
