C.K. is a project management and public health professional with experience in private, government, and NGO settings. She recently worked at U.S. embassies in both Managua, Nicaragua and San Jose, Costa Rica. From 2003-2010, she was a Project Manager for McKing Consulting Corporation, a federal contractor in Atlanta, GA, where she gained extensive experience with contract management, human resources, and research. While there, she managed 3 contracts with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) worth $1.9 million and employing 17 people. In addition, she contributed to many large proposal efforts by participating in bid strategies, writing and editing sections of the proposal, and recruiting staff. She has an MPA from Georgia State University and BA from the University of Georgia.
