D.H. is a seasoned marketing communications professional whose greatest strength is distilling technical information into everyday language. Experience includes writing/editing, project management, event planning and fundraising for public, private and non-profit companies across the high tech, biotech, retail, education and service industries. She has international experience. She has worked as project manager coordinating photographers, graphic artists, writers and printers. For a feature story she was introduced to mapping technology, the dynamics of Baltimore’s F1 racing and the popularity of local crab houses. At government contractor MITRE, where she had secret clearance, she designed, illustrated and captioned a long-running lobby display featuring Over the Horizon Radar. To help befuddled sales personnel at Teradyne, she designed and produced a color-coded brochure to simplify the modular assembly of their Automatic Test Equipment. She holds a Masters of Science in Science Journalism from Boston University and a Bachelors of Science in Biology from Northeastern University. Can work up to full time with flexibility.
