D.R. has 15+ years of digital marketing, analytics and website management experience in the nonprofit, agency, and corporate environments. Since 2014 she has been working as an independent consultant managing digital marketing projects for clients, including website management, web and social media analytics, and email marketing. For a large association, she oversaw strategy and served as project lead for a website relaunch, working with an external web developer (Drupal) and introducing an analytics framework to the digital engagement team. From 2012-2014, she was the Web Marketing Specialist at the Pew Research Center, working with the organization’s seven research projects on web and social media analytics, managing online marketing projects such as the launch of the organization’s first blog and conducting employee training on topics such as SEO and Twitter for Researchers. From 2010-2012, she led website and digital campaign initiatives for another association. From 2005-2010, she was Director of Online Business at U.S. News Media Group, where she interfaced with editorial, sales, and marketing teams; oversaw online advertising; and helped develop strategic website plans, including building revenue partnerships. She is proficient in Google Analytics, WordPress, Drupal, ExactTarget, MailChimp, Teamwork and Basecamp. She has a Masters in Communication, Culture and Technology from Georgetown University and a BA from The George Washington University.
