E.R. has ten years of nonprofit experience, including four in a managerial capacity, communicating with top-level donors, streamlining procedures, compiling data to inform key financial decisions, and ensuring the integrity of a complex database. She was employed by a top arts organization in the Boston area from 2008 to 2018, earning three promotions during that time. Most recently, she was tasked with maintaining the accuracy of 24,000+ gift transactions, regular reporting of fundraising progress ($40+ million annually), adherence to accounting rules and guidelines, and database and Excel training for her department. She collaborated with outside departments such as finance, IT, and marketing to address operational inefficiencies and to devise, implement, and enforce improvements to processes such as gift designation standards and database management. Prior to this role, she was the organization’s bequest program manager. She facilitated gift commitments from donors, executed marketing and prospecting tactics, and prepared materials for board committee meetings. She is proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite and Tessitura (CRM software), and comfortable with G Suite. She holds an MBA and a BA in English and Political Science, both from Boston College.
