J.A is a strategic leader with 15 years of experience managing complex programs for national nonprofits in the education field. From 2014-2019, J.A led implementation and innovation for a portfolio of national literacy programs for BookTrust, the UK’s leading children’s literacy nonprofit. She was promoted to Head of Programs in 2017, where she reported to the CEO, led a team of 8 and reached 2.5M families with the gift of 3.4M books in their child’s first year. From 2011-2014, J.A led participation and outreach at the National Centre for Circus Arts, where her efforts resulted in a 6% increase in the number of young people taking part in circus arts across the UK. In addition to 9 years in senior leadership roles in national nonprofits, J.A worked at Deloitte consulting, providing program management support and analysis for private-sector and nonprofit clients. She has an MBA from Cass Business School, a Master’s in Education from the University of Reading, and a Bachelors from the University of Leeds.
