J.C. is a seasoned marketing manager with 10+ years of copywriting, editing, collateral development and event planning experience, having worked for blue-chip corporations, associations, start-ups, and community organizations. For the past 15 years, J.C. has worked as a freelance marketing consultant, most notably for Spring13, a digital marketing and branding agency. From 2001-2003, J.C. was Director of Marketing for the Specialized Carriers and Rigging Association, where she wrote, developed and supervised the production of the organization’s annual report, weekly newsletter to members and all special event materials. From 1998-2001, she served as Communications Manager for two emerging Internet start-ups. Prior to this, she was a Senior Account Executive at Edelman Worldwide/PR21 (now Zeno Group), providing marketing and PR counsel to Motorola and Lucent Technologies. J.C. began her career as an Industry Marketing Analyst at Andersen Consulting (now Accenture). She received a BS in Journalism/Public Relations from the E.W. Scripps School Journalism at Ohio University.
