J.D. is a creative digital marketing professional with experience in technology, entertainment, and design industries. She is currently an independent consultant providing marketing and web design services to small businesses. After a 5-month project, she was hired by a major medical device manufacturer where she worked as a digital marketing manager from 2014-2017. J.D. developed and implemented strategic plans to find, engage, convert, and retain customers, created marketing campaigns that included digital and social media tactics as well as offline programs, and used data and her ability to generate ideas to design exceptional customer experiences and build profitable businesses. From 2000-2014 she owned and operated an award-winning residential interior design business that she promoted via appearances on HGTV, byline print and digital articles, public speaking and live interviews. Prior to owning her business, J.D. worked for Fortune 500 companies from 1987-2000 where she created marketing programs, sales tools, managed the department P&L and launched new businesses. J.D. initiated and was active in several employee engagement and community service projects. J.D. stays current through ongoing education from certification programs at Middlesex Community College, eCornell and HarvardX. Courses include marketing strategy, digital marketing, and social media marketing. She is a graduate of Cornell University and Harvard Business School.
