J.S. is an award-winning sales, marketing and business development professional with 20+ years of B2B and B2C experience. This includes working for blue-chip, multinational organizations such as Colgate-Palmolive and S.C. Johnson in strategic marketing and brand management and AT&T Wireless and Sunrise Senior Living in consultative sales. Since 2007, J.S. has been an independent consultant providing marketing, sales and business development support to clients such as Sodexo USA, American Cancer Society, and Hispanic Access. Over the past year, JS has also put her sales and marketing skills to work as Executive Director of a local non-profit organization, where she has increased revenue and net income by 85% and 153%, respectively. She was recently elected Board Chair. From 2014-2015, she was Director of Sales and Marketing for Sunrise Senior Living, where she met the monthly sales quota by 100% in her first year, and in the next six months, she exceeded her sales quota by 200%. J.S. is proficient on Salesforce and MS Office Suite. She has an MBA from St. Edward’s University and a BA in Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin. She recently completed a four-course certification program offered on-line by SUNY on Non-Profit Leadership and Governance. She is bilingual in English and Spanish.
