Accounting professional with a decade of experience in accounting and bookkeeping. She is currently the bookkeeper for a small dog walking company as well as a non-profit counseling center where she is responsible for tasks such as paying all vendor invoices, reconciling bank statements, closing the books each month and generating financial statements. K.F. also coordinates with her client’s CPA during unemployment and year-end audits. Prior to her work as a bookkeeper K.F. worked as the office manager for Group 5 POS from 2015 to 2018 where she developed and implemented several new processes in an effort to make the company function more efficiently. K.F. performed many functions for this company; often serving as human resources and customer service along with her office manager duties, which included recording customer payments and processing payroll amongst other duties. From 2009 to 2014 K.F. was a staff accountant at Keurig Green Mountain, Inc. where she was exposed to many different areas of accounting including inventory accounting, cash reconciliations, and revenue recognition. During her time at Keurig K.F. was responsible for the calculation of the return and warranty reserves, which were two of the largest reserves on the balance sheet at the time and, as a result, gained valuable experience presenting to all levels of management to include the Chief Financial Officer. She was involved in monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing and worked closely with external auditors during quarterly and year-end audits. K.F. was also heavily involved in two software migrations while at Keurig where she worked with external consultants and internal subject matter experts (SME) to develop and test new processes. K.F. began her career as a tax associate with Cowan, Bolduc, Doherty & Company, LLC. K.F. is proficient in QuickBooks and the Microsoft Office Suite. She has a BSBA with a concentration in accounting from Merrimack College.
