A.K. brings a decade of program development and implementation and HR business consulting, working with international development organizations in projects related to international education, youth development, leadership and entrepreneurship. From 2016-2017, A.K. served as Regional Ambassador to the San Francisco-based Technovation Challenge, the world’s largest tech entrepreneurship competition for 10-18 year-old girls. Based in Ukraine, she developed partnerships with large IT companies, Peace Corps, the Ministry of Education, United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and other sponsors to promote diversity in technology in the country. From 2008-2010 for the UNDP’s Global Compact project in Belarus, A.K. organized activities to build partnerships between local government, businesses, and NGOs to create a more sustainable future and solve urgent social problems. She conducted research on inclusive business models and wrote a case study for the 2010 UNDP Global Inclusive Markets report. As a business consultant (2008-2009), A.K. worked with small and medium sized companies in Belarus to increase their effectives and improve their human resources practices related to talent development and engagement. She developed and conducted team-building and performance management training as well as taught a Human Resource Management course to undergraduate students in Belarus. A.K. has a M.A. in Education Administration with a focus on Organization Development from University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and a Certificate in Human Resource Management from Villanova University. She is fluent in Russian.
