K.G. is an attorney with almost 30 years of Federal agency experience. She has extensive writing, contracts review and administration, and legal experience on varied areas of civil, regulatory, and administrative law. For 11 years, K.G. was Chief Counsel for the Office of Inspector General at the USDA, where she managed the legal office and gave legal advice to criminal investigators, auditors, and HR staff. K.G. served as an Assistant Counsel for the Inspector General at DHS for 8 years. For the past 4 years, prior to accepting a buyout and early retirement, K.G. served as Deputy Inspector General and Counsel at a financial regulatory agency. K.G. has a JD from Ohio State University College of Law and a BA/double major in English/History from the University of Dayton.
