K.M. is a C-suite level corporate communications and media relations professional. He specializes in serving as a corporate spokesperson, media training, issues management, corporate crisis management, speech writing, senior executive employee and public communications (i.e., op-eds, official statements, executive “for signature” writing needs and more), government relations communications, and management/board communications. Since 2006, he has been an independent communications consultant directing media relations and marketing for association, nonprofit, law firm, and small business clients. From 2001-2006, he served as Director of Corporate Communications & Senior Writer at The United Illuminating Company. Prior to this, he was Manager of Public Relations, Media & Employee Communications for Verizon Wireless, NYC Metro Region and held several communications management roles at Southern New England Telecommunications (now AT&T).
