K.W. has combined her business background and passion for health, as an administrative professional in the non-profit sector utilizing her analytical ability, communication (written and oral) skills and organized nature to support executive level managers. At a community health and wellness organization, she assisted the executive director in curriculum planning and teaching of nutrition lessons. Her non-profit experience also includes prospecting and communication with potential donors at a medical association in corporate relations. In both positions, she was responsible for database management of over 100 volunteers/donors. From 2004-2011, she worked at SunTrust Bank where she started as an intern and received an offer to participate in the Management Associate program. K.W. was formally trained as a Portfolio Specialist at SunTrust University. Within a year of working as a Portfolio Specialist in the commercial real estate department she was promoted to Assistant Vice President. In this position, she managed a portfolio of loans in excess of $1 million each to custom home builders, developers and investors. She was responsible for corporate financial, market and risk analysis. K.W. also spent a year as an Accounting Assistant at the Orlando Regional Chamber of Commerce primarily assisting the accountant in processing accounts receivables. Prior to this, she worked in administrative roles at the University of Central Florida in accounting and then the industrial engineering department. K.W. is proficient in Microsoft Office. She is a military spouse and has a Masters in Health Science, Health Service Administration and Bachelors in Business Administration, Finance from University of Central Florida.
