Engineer with over 25 years of R&D and product development experience in computer, networking and telecommunications companies. He previously served as Vice President of Engineering at OpVista responsible for the product development of Metro Optical Transport products. Major customers included Time Warner and Cox. Prior to OpVista, he served as the Director of Engineering at Bay Networks/Nortel/Arris responsible for Enterprise/Branch Routers and Cable Modem/CMTS products. At Honeywell, L.M. was a Senior Staff Telecommunications Analyst and the corporate representative on numerous standards committees. Over the last decade, he has been a technical consultant for law firms and companies supporting them in patent litigation, prosecution and portfolio analysis. L.M. has ten patent awards and received a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University and an MBA from the University of Dallas. He is a USCG Auxiliary Qualified Instructor and Boat Crew Member and USCG Master Licensed Captain with Security Clearance from the Department of Homeland Security.
