M.B. has 15+ years of experience serving in Controller-level positions in Financial Management with strong reporting and hands-on accounting skills for small to medium size businesses, as well as working through high growth and acquisitions. Due to the recent closing of her former employer, she is currently on the market looking for businesses where she can make a difference and that are open to part-time/flexible hours. In 2013 she was recruited by the owner/CFO of an accounting service company with whom she previously worked and proven herself to as a positive, innovative and efficient team player with excellent leadership and managerial skills. At that time, the company had a client with gradual revenue growth (from $45M to $90M) and needed her to quickly establish new policies, efficient procedures and build a self-sufficient accounting team. All of this was successfully accomplished in about six months. During this work experience, she gained knowledge of financial and operational support of international sales and logistics, as well as warehousing cost accounting. She has extensive experience working in professional/financial services and sales distribution industries as well as helping various small businesses (i.e., dental office, retail, real estate, non-profit trust, etc.) with their daily financial needs, preparing financials for CPA firm and helping them to succeed with timely financial reporting and financial advice. She is a motivated self-starter with solid computer skills, proficient in NetSuite, QuickBooks and other systems, and has taken many continuing education courses. Available up to 30 hours a week either in a virtual situation on in an office with a flexible schedule.
