Prior to that, he was based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands as an international marketing consultant for a United States commodities business. During this time, he oversaw the execution of marketing and sales projects that increased U.S. soybean exports to the European, North African and the CIS regions. Before living and working in Amsterdam, he built a comprehensive marketing plan for a startup real estate investment trust that increased leasing activity for the organization.
