Finance and operations professional with 13+ years of retail, e-commerce and technology experience in a high-growth, fast-paced organization where she led teams across accounting, financial operations, and product management. Prior to leaving the workforce, she was the assistant director of product management, where she strategically planned, built and managed Wayfairs homegrown and proprietary financial systems that computed, transacted and reported 1B+transactions annually. In that role, she led a team of 15 product managers and oversaw 6 agile scrum teams. Before that as the Director of Financial Operations at Wayfair, she was able to combine her passion for technology and process improvement with her accounting and finance technical knowledge to lead a team of accountants and financial analysts, while working alongside a growing team of software engineers to begin designing and iterating on Wayfair’s financial systems. In this role she also sat on the SOX steering committee and assisted in compliance implementation to bring the company through a successful IPO in 2014. From 2005-2011 she worked and then oversaw the accounts payable function at Wayfair, which included managing vendor relationships, implementing team performance metrics, day to day accounts payable operations, monthly close procedures, reconciliations, and monthly financial analysis. In that role, she also worked to set up offshore operations and other special projects to drive overall team efficiency and cost-effectiveness. She is proficient in Quickbooks, Netsuite and Microsoft SQL. She has a Bachelors in Business with a concentration in Finance from the University of Connecticut.
