M.P. has 20+ years of experience providing complete marketing communications support, including conceptualization, development and production of critical marketing and corporate communications for a variety of federal government contracting and non-profit organizations. After rising through the ranks from Marketing Specialist to Marketing Manager early in her career at a growing federal government contracting firm, in 1999 she founded Pen & Inc., a marketing communications consulting company. Over the course of her career, M.P. has successfully collaborated with a variety of stakeholders (C-level executives, subject matter experts, business development staff, graphic artists, etc.) to create comprehensive messaging that achieves organizational objectives. Most recently, she has held retainer positions with small- and mid-sized government contractors in the defense/intelligence and IT industries. Last year, M.P. successfully planned and executed a company rebranding effort, including the development and roll out of a new name, logo, web site and marketing materials. Areas of expertise include developing and executing marketing collateral, employee communications, digital media, public relations, promotional campaigns and marketing events. Several of her publications have won APEX awards from Communications Concepts. M.P. is proficient in AP Style, MS Office Suite and Word Press. She has an MBA from the University of Maryland (concentration: Marketing) and a BA from The College of William and Mary.
