With a background in chemical engineering, M.H. has 9 years of operations and project management experience at ExxonMobil, where she initially worked in the area of research and engineering and then moved into complex pricing, data analysis, and process modeling roles within fuel marketing. Prior to leaving ExxonMobil due to its relocation to Houston, she served as Pricing Tactics Advisor, serving as the subject matter expert for all pricing tools and processes and supporting wholesale sales teams in pricing proposals and presentations. In addition, she was selected to develop new work processes on several first-of-a-kind initiatives to improve pricing decisions and collaboration between business lines, leading to an estimated $2M in additional margin. From 2010-2012 she worked as the Raw Material Tactical Operations Coordinator, tracking quality data trends for 320 distinct crude oil grades. She was also responsible for creating and tracking a $3.6M annual budget and presenting monthly updates to program stakeholders and managers. She started her career at ExxonMobil as an Advanced Optimization and Modeling Engineer (2008-2010) and Design Engineer (2006-2008). She has a Bachelors in Chemical Engineering and minor in Biotechnology from NC State University.
