10 years of experience in the areas of operations, training, vendor management and quality with GE Capital International services and GE- ITS. As an operations manager she has trained, mentored and led large teams. She specializes in simplifying and improving processes, root cause analysis by driving six sigma projects, documenting standard operating procedures, developing, tracking and reporting key metrics using dashboards and hiring technical, administrative and management staff. She has worked with several clients such as Gillette, Pfizer, Gillette, Nike and Raytheon and has had to quickly learn to understand a variety of systems, reports and metrics and used excel and Minitab extensively for data analysis and reporting. She was promoted twice in the same year at GE Capital and promoted to a service delivery leader (Program management office) at GE-ITS with global oversight of a 90-member helpdesk staff spread across India, China and Spain. She was awarded multiple times for her operational excellence, customer centricity and leadership skills and is six-sigma black belt certified. She currently works as a contractor with a leading provider of real-world observational data for autoimmune diseases. She speaks seven languages, is proficient in Spanish. She is a “science-arts graduate” and has a bachelor’s degree in genetics and a master of philosophy degree in English literature, both from India.
