R.S. is a finance and accounting professional with an active CPA and 30+ years of experience managing accounting departments and ERP systems and implementing internal controls. He has broad industry experience, including nonprofit, medical group, staffing, IT, and public accounting. He most recently worked as Director of Accounting for a Bethesda nonprofit. He updated their financial records, including reconciling two years of corporate credit card transactions. He also helped the organization obtain an Unqualified Opinion on their financial statements. From 2010-2018, R.S. worked for the Small Enterprise Education and Promotion (SEEP) Network as the Director of Finance. He prepared monthly financials, managed a staff accountant, created the annual budget, and documented all accounting policies and procedures. His efforts resulted in the SEEP Network obtaining an unqualified opinion on their financial statements. R.S.’s experience includes completing an accounting system conversion and consolidating the books of eight companies, which was accepted by the federal government and all 32 states where they were doing business. R.S. is proficient in MS Dynamics GP, Sage 50 (PeachTree), MS Navision, Personify, Unanet, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. He has a BS in Accounting from Mt. Saint Mary’s University and an active CPA.
