S.C. is a finance professional with a 12-year career in the U.S. Army (active and reserve). She is now a reservist seeking to transition to a permanent bookkeeping and/or financial analyst role. Recent active-duty assignments from 2016-2017 include serving as an Executive Assistant for the DoD’s Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS) and Patient Administrative Officer at Fort Belvoir Community Hospital. She has also held short-term, non-active-duty bookkeeping and financial analyst roles that include: Budget Analyst on a 2-month assignment in 2016 supporting the Defense Technical Information Center at Fort Belvoir, where she managed purchase orders, tracked AP, and conducted financial reviews; Staff Accountant for a small manufacturing firm in FL for 9 months in 2015; Tax/Assurance Specialist for PwC in Tampa, FL on a 3-month assignment in 2015; and Revenue Cycle Accountant for 5 months for a medical practice in FL through Robert Half International in 2014. She is proficient in Quickbooks. She has a Masters and Bachelors in Finance from Webster University and University of South Florida, respectively. She is currently studying for the CPA exam.
